Fun Fact Friday: Natural Decongestion Recipe
The other bummer about being pregnant the lack of a cough and cold remedies you can take when feeling under the weather. Being prone to sinus "discomfort" when I get a cold, this is a problem. Getting sleep at night is imperative so I can get healthy faster and still work at Loco Bebe during the day. So I set out to find a natural remedy for my sinus congestion and came across a concoction that works for me. Interesting side note, this recipe shows up in Tim Ferris' new book "Tools of Titans" minus the cayenne pepper as a natural sleep aid.
2 Tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tablespoon of Honey
1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
It doesn't taste great, but it doesn't taste bad either. Almost like a spicey Apple Juice with a tang to it.
